After arriving Paro airport you will get assistance from the hotel authorities. You will be traveling Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. En route you will stop for visiting the confluence of two rivers Thimphu and Paro at Chuzom. This confluence is surrounded by the stupas of three different styles- Tibetan, Bhutanese and Nepalese. After check into spend the evening taking a walk around the market place, and explore street foods. Later start with the Pangrizampa monastery for getting an astrology session. Later you will be visiting the handmade paper mill, School of Arts and Crafts. Here the students come from different countries to learn art forms that are used predominantly in the land. Later you can visit the Bhutan Museum. Within the museum you can experience archery. Post lunch take a visit to the memorial built in the memory of 3rd King. Visit ChangangkhaLhakhang temple considered to be the oldest one in the valley.

After the breakfast start the day with a drive to Punakha through the pass of Dochula. It is one of the beautiful passes in Bhutan. 108 DrukWangyelChortens was built in the year 2003 over the pass by Queen Mother. If you are lucky enough with the weather then you can witness a beautiful sight of Bhutan’s highest mountains that stretched around 180 degrees. You can stop there for some spectacular photo shoot. After photo session you can start you journey again for the Punakha valley. On route to the valley you can visit Po Chhu suspended bridge. It is considered to be the longest suspended bridge built on Po Churiver. This bridge connects with the nearby village. After the visit take a drive back to the hotel. Enjoy your rest of the evening by visiting the local market.
Post breakfast start your day with visiting the Punakha Dzong, beautiful temple of the country. This visit to the temple will indulge you in the spiritual nature of the country. Dzong showcases some of the best arts and craft artefacts styles used mostly in Bhutan. You next destination is Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery. Your day will be incomplete without taking an excursion of 20minutes walk to ChimiLhakhang, this dusty and muddy path along the fields of rice and mustards will give you a spectacular sight to enjoy. This path leads to a beautiful hillock where the chorten and monastery are located. This hillock of ChimiLhakhang is also known as the temple of fertility. The walk along the village gives you the glimpse of the routine life of the valley.
Start your journey in the early morning for the excursion to a beautiful monastery of Taktshang. It is considered to be one of the famous Bhutan’s monasteries built on the Paro valley. It is believed that Guru Rimpoche has arrived here with his tiger for the purpose of meditation, therefore it is known as Tiger’s nest. Post lunch drive to a ruined fortress of DrukgyeDzong, where the Bhutanese soldiers fought against the Tibetans. The dome of Chomolhari, Mountain of Goddess is also another place to go for glory. You must also visit the 108 temples of KyuchuLhakhang built on 7th century by Tibetan King, SongtsenGampo. The building is considered the mark of Buddhism in Bhutan. Spend the evening in the beautiful valley of Paro to enjoy the serenity around you.
